Speaker Stands

This independent project was thought of after purchasing new speakers, which needed stands to sit on. After searching the market, I was not happy with what was available. I decided to build my own and wanted a design that would be visually light but still have substance and be sturdy. I finalized on a triangle shape leg to create a tapered visual appearance. I learned a lot when constructing the stands, like the manufacturing limits of the material. My original plan was to have a true triangle but during the dimensioning of the wood I ran into a problem with the tools ability to make the desired shape. I adjusted the design and it ended up producing some interesting connections.
